Tehran Stock Exchange Company (Public Company) was established in 2006 pursuant to the Securities Market Law of the Islamic Republic of Iran, approved in December 2005. Prior to the approval of this law and the separation of the supervisor from the executor, all operations related to securities had been carried out in the Securities and Exchange Brokers Organization from 1968 to 2005. The most important duty of Tehran Stock Exchange Company includes forming, organizing and managing the market in order to carry out securities transactions accepted by Iranian and non-Iranian persons in accordance with the law and regulations.

Iran Energy Exchange Company (Public Company) was established in 2012 pursuant to the Securities Market Law of the Islamic Republic of Iran, approved in December 2005. Since then it has been operating in the field of cash transactions, standard parallel SALAM contracts, futures contracts and option. Furthermore, it has been working to meet the needs such as buying and selling energy resources, financing for producers and providing energy resources for distributors and consumers.

Iran Fara Bourse Company (Public Company), with the aim of expanding the securities market and diversifying financial assets issued and traded in the capital market, was established in 2008 pursuant to the Securities Market Law of the Islamic Republic of Iran, approved in December 2005. The Iran Fara Bourse establishment model has been inspired by some advanced stock exchanges, stock exchanges with similar structure as well as existing experiences in the Tehran Stock Exchange.

The most important duty of Iran Fara Bourse Company is to organize and guide a part of the capital market that does not have the conditions to enter the stock exchange or tend to enter the market faster; therefore, the listing procedures of companies and the variety of listing conditions are in a way that companies with achieving minimum requirements and in the fastest possible time have the opportunity to enter the market and use all the benefits of listed firms in the securities market.

 

Iran Mercantile Exchange Company (Public Company) was established in 2013 pursuant to the Securities Market Law of the Islamic Republic of Iran, approved in December 2005. Since then it has been operating in the field of cash transactions, standard parallel SALAM contracts, futures contracts and option. Central Securities Depository of Iran (Public Company) was established in 2005 pursuant to the Securities Market Law of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Its duty is to deal with affairs after trading on the stock exchange or over-the-counter markets. The company is responsible for the registration, maintenance, transfer, ownership of securities and settlement of transaction funds. The company plays a significant role in the efficiency of securities by increasing the efficiency of swap performance, settlement of transactions, reducing transaction costs, reducing the risk of forgery, theft and loss of securities.
